The Economic Justice Committee is hosting the ninth annual Fair Trade Holiday Bazaar!
Sunday, November 25, 2012
9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Avoid traffic and crowds – not to mention the mall – when you shop for sustainable, Fair Trade holiday gifts at the annual Fair Trade bazaar. Sponsored by the Economic Justice Committee, this year’s bazaar is in Max Otto Hall on Sunday, November 25 starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 1:30 p.m. Whether it’s a stunning necklace, embroidered purse, gorgeous piece of pottery or a woven basket, you’re sure to find the perfect gift. (You may even pick up a few items for yourself!)
Trails to Bridges, based in Hartland, carefully sources artisan-made goods from 40 countries and is our retail partner again this year. Your purchase helps provide a living wage to economically suppressed regions around the world where these crafts are made. Closer to home, the money you spend at the fair helps support this year’s charitable recipient, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, which will receive proceeds from the bazaar sales.
