Teen Programming and Religious Education

Today’s Youth Leading the Way.

Our Youth Steering Committee is an energetic body of youth, youth advisors and parents dedicated to providing direction and support to enable our youth (ages 14-18, grades 9-12) to participate in balanced Young Religious Unitarian Universalist (YRUU) programming in a stimulating, safe and caring environment.

Youth programming at our church includes a wide variety of opportunities for teens, including:

  • Worship
  • Community Building
  • Learning
  • Social Justice
  • Leadership Development

Several times each year, youth group members are invited to take part in “lock-ins” at the church. Our young people also may participate in three district-wide youth conferences throughout the year. This allows them to gather for a weekend with YRUUers from Wisconsin and the surrounding states to focus on common interests and spiritual growth.
