Leenhouts Art Gallery

From March 15 - April 26 in our art gallery:

The Leenhouts Gallery Committee invites you to an exhibit of the photography of Suzanne Garr.

Ms. Garr is a professional photographer who has traveled to many places around the world including Africa, Ireland, England, Italy, Bhutan, Thailand and France. Her work is an attempt to capture the cultures and stories of the people and the cities to which she’s journeyed. Her color photos use artful composition and evocative style to depict a sense of place, and atmosphere.

Ms. Garr’s work will be available for sale through April 26, 2008.

The photography of Suzanne Garr will be on display.

April 26, 2008 - June 7, 2008

The gallery will display the etching and architectual work of Gary Hodel.

June 7, 2008 - September 6, 2008

The acrylic impressionist paintings of  Elaine Murray will be featured.

Jurying of artists for the coming 2008-2009 season will be conducted on May 10, 2008:  9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m..

About the Leenhouts Art Gallery.

Located in the Leenhouts Common Room on the main level, our art gallery features the works of talented artists from the Milwaukee area. Exhibits are open to the public every Sunday during Coffee Hours from 9:45-11:00 a.m., 12:00-1:00 p.m.  and 6:00-7:00 p.m.. During the week, visitors may view the gallery show Monday - Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m. -12:00 noon. Just ring the doorbell at 1342 N. Astor Street for admittance.
