Unitarian Universalism is a free faith.
Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion born of Jewish and Christian traditions…a religion that keeps an open mind to the spiritual questions people have struggled with in all times and places. We believe personal experience, conscience and reason should be the final authorities in religion.
We are a "non-creedal" religion: we do not ask anyone to subscribe to a creed. Religious insight may come from a book, a person, or an institution, but religious authority does not. Religious authority lies within ourselves. Religious insights are tested in our individual hearts and minds. This is a free faith.
