Sin? In our free, liberal faith? Surely not. What does that word even mean to us in the modern age? Ultimately, those questions have individual answers– but I know what I believe. I believe that we are surrounded by sin. I believe we are all sinners. I believe that Sin is the difference between acting as if we are apart from this world, and acting as if we are a part of this world. That difference, that is the span of sin.
