What does your First Church group have planned?
Do you have a big event coming up or do you just want to get the word out about your group in general? The Marketing Committee is here to enhance the great work you do for First Church. We seek not only to help achieve the goals your group desires, but to ensure a consistent, positive “face” for the church. Because all brochures and external communication pieces must be approved by church staff before printing or copying, it makes sense to get the Marketing Committee involved at the beginning. This ensures that church guidelines are met and your materials are developed in the most effective way. For example, take a look at the attached specifications for Chanticleer ads and articles. Adhering to these policies from the onset will help you make sure your group doesn’t miss an opportunity to be included in the newsletter.
Perhaps you need a new brochure for your committee.
To get started, review the Guidelines for Creating a Brochure. These guidelines will aid you in understanding what the church expects. They’re designed to help us create brochures that are not only informational and compelling, but positively represent the church and our community. Your group can use this information to develop its own brochure, but we strongly urge you to present it to the Marketing Committee early in its development to ensure that it will meet approval. Even better, we encourage you to take advantage of the design and copywriting expertise of our committee members. Whether you have an existing communication piece that needs improvement or you’re starting from scratch, we’re happy to work with you!
Maybe you know what your group needs. Or, maybe you aren't quite sure.
To help your committee or team define your needs and goals, please review the Committee Assistance Guide. Then, contactallen [dot] uebele
gmail [dot] com (subject: First%20Church%20Marketing%20inquiry) ( Allen Uebele). After we have an understanding of your needs and timeframe, our committee will let you know how and if we can help. Please remember that, like your own committee, the Marketing Committee is made up of volunteers. We'll try to accommodate your time frame, but the more time (three weeks minimum for most projects) you can provide us, the better. For approval of your communications materials before printing or duplication, contact kathy [dot] porter
